Handsome oak tavern clock by Bosworth of Nottingham circa 1840.with painted dial, hood with arched pediment and turned column supports, the trunk with canted corners and shaped door.
eight day movement.
Born circa 1797, Reuben Bosworth was a clock maker of good repute and was a well known turret clock maker as well as making clocks for railway stations and signal boxes.
