Description

charming arts & crafts hammered copper frame embossed with thistle decorations and Robert Burns verse and enclosing print by Henry J Dobson ARCA RSW which is titled "Burns Grace"
Robert Burns is thought to have written this verse around 1787 and is now read out at Scottish social gatherings or on Burns nights suppers :-
Some hae meat and canna eat
and some wad eat that want it
but we hae meat and we can eat
and sae the lord be thankit
normal marks etc commensurate with age but overall this delightful picture / frame is in very good condition.
