Description
early 18th century oak court cupboard of small proportions.the top section with carved frieze above panelled cupboard door flanked by bulbous turned pillars, the base with two panelled doors and panelled sides, standing on stile feet.
with a very pleasing colour and patina, this super court cupboard is a very handsome piece, it has marks, scuffs etc as one would expect with furniture of such age, and also as is very common in early oak pieces, there has been some errosion to the back panels and feet due to woodworm but this is long dead and only adds to the character and history of this wonderful cupboard.
