impressive large georgian pine housekeepers cupboard.the top with deep flared cornice over four panelled doors, the centre two opening to interior fitted with a shelf and five drawers, flanked either side by doors enclosing shelves.
the base with double panelled doors opening to storage space and three drawers, flanked either side by three deep graduating drawers, shaped apron.
this wonderful cupboard is a real working piece, bought locally, it has been used by the same family for generations, it has had some old repairs, marks, wear etc, all the idiosyncrasies one would expect from a piece of such age in everyday use but overall this substantial cupboard is in good condition and with its copious storage space, it is functional yet attractive and full of character.
