wonderful burr walnut davenport / music cabinet.the pierced brass galleried and inlaid desk top with fabulous inlaid doors enclosing interior fitted with stationery compartments and two drawers, the frieze drawer fitted with adjustable tooled leather writing slope and pen compartment over base with glazed door opening to interior fitted with two satinwood shelves.
this really is an outstanding and beautifully decorative piece with a wonderful colour and patina not done justice by the photographs.
some marks and scratches commensurate with age and use but overall this delightful davenport is in good condition.
