Description
Lovely quality George 11 walnut bureau, circa 1750.The featherbanded fall front ( with working lock and key ) opening to interior fitted with various drawers and compartments and drop well centre, the two short and two long drawers below are again all featherbanded, brass carrying handles to the sides and raised on bracket feet.
With marks / scuffs and some historic repairs as expected with a piece of such immense age, overall this wonderful bureau is in good sound condition with a lovely rich colour and patina, it really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
